Our family has been growing long pepper in the same such growing conditions since shortly after Cambodia emerged from its recent, dark past. We worked hard then to help build a new Cambodia and we work hard now to build a quality product.Cambodia produces the finest pepper in the world. Our farm is located in Takeo Province on the Kampot border. It rests at the base of a mountain, in full sunlight, where the breeze rolls through the foothills down to the surrounding rice paddy. Welcome to Kiri Farms.Long Pepper is found mostly in Southeast Asia, with farms in India, Cambodia, Thailand, and Indonesia. It is a spice that has been traded for centuries, moving from the region to Asia, North Africa and present-day Europe. It's recently found its place back in the culinary space, rediscovered for its complex flavor and versatility in cooking. In addition to culinary uses it has medicinal properties as well.Kiri Farms supports locally produced and processed Cambodian products. Today, much of what gets consumed in Cambodia is imported from neighboring countries like Vietnam and Thailand. As markets in Cambodia gain maturity things are trending for the better. Local industries are capturing a greater share of domestic consumption and that makes us proud.
